Every now and then a product pops up that will gain an immediate celebrity cult following. And in the case of famous parents looking to give their babies and children the best of the best, it's Stokke's iconic Tripp Trapp high chair.
A-Listers from Kim Kardashian to Chrissy Teigen have all been spotted using the chair in their luxury homes. Fans have had a peak at the accessory, which retails from £219, in the background of the stars' Instagram posts and videos.

Other celebrity fans include Vogue Williams, Ronan Keating, Jessica Alba, Cristiano Ronaldo, Stacey Solomon, Mrs Hinch, and Joe Wicks to name a few.
So what's the craze behind the Stokke product, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year? For starters, it's a high chair that is well worth the investment as it's fully adjustable and grows with your baby.

The newborn attachment means you can use it from birth, while it can hold up to 110kg, so children can use it as a normal chair when they're older and even as adults. But there's also a more emotive reason behind the design.
Peter Opsvik, designer of the Norwegian brand, wanted to create one chair that could comfortably seat all ages at the same table.

By reducing the height difference between small children and their parents and allowing them to sit together at eye level, families would find it easier to interact, making life around the dinner table more enjoyable.
Bonding between parent and child was at the forefront of his mind – no wonder it has cult status.
In celebration of the chair's 50th anniversary, Stokke has created 18,000 limited-edition ash chairs in white and mixed colourways which each have their own number and a laser-engraved anniversary logo.
