Stacey Solomon marks sweet milestone for daughter Rose in adorable photo

The family are currently enjoying their first holiday since the pandemic

Stacey Solomon's daughter Rose marked an adorable milestone while away with her family on their first trip abroad since the coronavirus pandemic. 

Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-five shared a sweet photo of her little girl holding hands with her dad, Joe Swash, while taking her first dip in the sea.

In the caption, Stacey gave fans an update on the family's holiday to Abu Dhabi. "It's 10:30pm here in Abu Dhabi.

"All the kids are fast asleep. So many of you have sent the loveliest messages thank you. We've had the best day and are so grateful to be away."

She continued, sharing Rose's special milestone: "I'm just looking through our pictures. This is Rose's first experience of the sea. She was a little nervous but loved it in the end."

The family set off on their trip on Friday and Stacey shared a series of sweet snaps from their journey to mark the occasion. 

The first photo shows Stacey cradling her baby girl Belle, who is two months old, while standing alongside her husband Joe and children, Rex, two, Rose, 15 months, Zach, 15, and Leighton, nine, at Heathrow Airport. The second picture sees the family posing together again having reached their destination of Abu Dhabi.

The family went on their first holiday since the pandemic

"Here We Go," she began in the caption. "Off on our very first adventure together… Rose & Belle's first plane ride and ours as a family since before covid when Rex was a few months old.

"We are all so excited to make some special memories. I think I was most nervous about the journey there but we've made it safe & sound and still sane."

She concluded: "A massive thank you to the lovely passengers who were so chatty & sweet to us & the kids and also thank you to kindest air stewards who played with Rex & Rose so nicely & made them feel so comfortable @etihad you have the most amazing staff and captain Rexy can't wait to fly us home."
