Amanda Holden decided to pose in her hot tub in the garden of her Surrey home as the UK was plunged into another national coronavirus lockdown – and in the post she made a confession that she'll be keeping her Christmas decorations up at least until February!

She captioned her post: "FYI. The Queen doesn't take her decorations down until Candlemas (Feb 2nd). After last night's news - I think we may have a huge argument for keeping them up."

Wearing a gorgeous red Baywatch-esque swimsuit, the star perched on her hot tub as she reacted to Monday night's lockdown news. The presenter was keen to keep her spirits up with a glass of red wine in hand.

Behind Amanda, fans could see an enormous Christmas tree in her back garden covered in twinkling fairy lights. At the top of the tree, she has a luminous star that helps to light up the garden.

Even her front door got a festive makeover

While the Queen's reasoning for keeping her Christmas trimmings up for longer may be a little more sombre, Amanda does raise a valid point about us having some lovely decorations to brighten our mood during lockdown.

The 49-year-old owns two fabulous houses in Surrey and the Cotswolds, and we often see glimpses into them via Amanda's Instagram feed.

Amanda admits she doesn't want to live in a show home

While both homes look pristine, Amanda has previously said it's important that she doesn't make them feel like "a show home". Speaking to House Beautiful, the mum-of-two said: "We have two little girls and don't want them feeling that they're treading on eggshells."
