Dick and Angel Strawbridge's beloved home Chateau de La Motte Husson is known for its Instagrammable interiors and their stunning salon just got even more beautiful.

On Monday, the Escape to the Chateau couple took to their Instagram account @the_chateau_tv to give their 315,000 followers a 360° tour of the salon after Angel gave it a spruce up.

"Angel has continued her Chateau Story of Mademoiselle Daisy by showing us how she’s styled the design (along with lots of other Chateau favourites!) in their Salon. Perfect for embracing a maximalist style, or simply adding a sprinkle of colour #maximalistinteriors #chateaudelamottehusson," the caption read.

Mademoiselle Daisy is the couple's zany motorhome that they have worked hard to transform from drab to fab.

The Strawbridges work hard to make their home perfect

The fabulous 70s-style print Angel used inside the vehicle is now named Mademoiselle Daisy too. It has now been used for other projects, and Angel has used it to liven up the interiors of their home as well.

The beautiful print can be seen used on cushions on the salon's brown leather Chesterfield sofa, alongside a collection of other printed cushions, creating a mis-matched dream.

The large room, that's flooded with light thanks to the traditional windows, also has a large floral rug, a traditional piano and the space leads on to the turret library room. The reading room is a place that sparks a lot of interest among fans.

The library room is a popular space

Many people have pointed out its similarity to Disney's Beauty and the Beast library – and we can't help but agree, it's magical!

The chateau is located in the commune of Martigné-sur-Mayenne, in north-west France, and the property had stood empty for 40 years with no electricity, heating or running water before they snapped it up for a bargain £280,000 back in 2015. Now, it has 45 glorious rooms with stunning vintage interiors, a moat, 12 acres of grounds, a home for Angel's parents to live on-site, and The Orangery, which acts as a stunning wedding venue.
