The Prince and Princess of Wales are currently spending the Easter school holidays with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, but made a very coordinated appearance at the Easter Sunday church service.

While the Waleses have been known to travel abroad during half-term, they typically spend their children's school breaks at their country abode, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

Both William and Kate have spoken about what their young family love to get up while they're off-duty, including a very unusual activity.

Read on to find out about some of the fun things the Prince and Princess love to do with George, Charlotte and Louis.

Easter egg hunt

Like many families, the Waleses have enjoyed fun Easter activities, with Kate telling two little girls at the church service in 2018 that George and Charlotte had taken part in an egg hunt that morning.

Farming

Back in 2020, William revealed what the children had been up to during the February half-term, telling injured players ahead of Wales's rugby match against France: "We've been lambing with the children this week. Charlotte wasn't sure at first but George was straight in there. Louis loves the tractors. They love seeing the lambs and feeding the lambs."

Anmer Hall is just a short drive from the King's sprawling Sandringham estate, which includes 2,400 hectares of farmland that it manages.

Sports

The Prince and Princess are avid sports fans and love to get involved themselves, with Kate frequently sharing her love of the great outdoors.

Kate has previously been spotted taking George and Charlotte swimming at a nearby luxury Norfolk hotel complex during half-term in 2019, while William has also previously confirmed that they are a "family of swimmers".

While George joined his father at an Aston Villa match last week, the Waleses are also huge rugby fans, and no doubt the children will have been practising their skills during the holidays.

During one of England's Six Nations matches in February, Kate revealed that "George has just gone from playing tag rugby to contact rugby".

And when the Princess held a reception for England's wheelchair rugby league team at Hampton Court Palace back in January, she disclosed that their children had inherited her and William's competitive streaks, saying: "We're always slightly competitive with each other. They all love sport and Louis is mad about rugby. They are at an age where they just love running around."

Kate also revealed the surprising way she keeps fit, adding: "I do it all: whenever I can squeeze in exercise I do, even jumping on the trampoline with the children before school."

Baking

The Princess has previously confessed to staying up until midnight to make her children's birthday cakes, and it wouldn't surprise us if she kept baking in her locker as a rainy day activity for George, Charlotte and Louis.

During the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year, Kensington Palace shared an adorable video of Kate and her children making cupcakes for a local street party. Check out their icing skills in the clip below...

The young royals have also previously made sweet treats for British veterans, as well as a delicious-looking Victoria's Sponge cake for Mother's Day.
