Princess Anne's uniform
The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals, is wearing the Full Mounted Ceremonial uniform of the Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons). The Princess is carrying the Gold Stick as Gold Stick-in-Waiting for this year’s parade. The Princess is also wearing aiguilettes and Her Royal Highness’s uniform bears the cypher of King Charles as a Personal Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are riding on the No. 2 Barouche.
Barouches are a type of carriage first seen in London in the early nineteenth century. There are today two barouches at the Royal Mews, which are distinguished by the lightly elegant shape to the undercarriage of the body. In common with almost all the carriages at the Royal Mews, they bear the dark claret paint which has been synonymous with royal vehicles, both horse drawn and motorised, for the past century.
Duchess Sophie's Beulah look
The gorgeous Duchess of Edinburgh is wearing a green Beulah dress and Jane Taylor hat for today's event.
Prince Louis is all smiles
You can always count on Prince Louis to bring joy to any royal event he attends. Just look at that smile!
Catherine back on the dais this year

William in uniform
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared personal photos on their Flickr account — and we’re loving this one of Prince William in uniform. What a photo! How handsome does he look?
Catherine and her kids - behind-the-scenes photo
We love it when the Waleses share behind-the-scenes photos from big royal events — and today is no different. They’ve shared a wonderful photo of Catherine and her children, taken just minutes before the start of the King’s Birthday Parade.
Two confident Princesses
The Princess of Wales was all smiles ahead of the start of the King’s Birthday Parade — and just look how confident Princess Charlotte looks!

Analysing Sophie's Trooping look
Loved the Duchess of Edinburgh's look today? We've got ALL the details, right here.
The Princess of Wales's look deserves its own moment
The Princess of Wales's look deserves a story of its own — I mean, what a moment, right? Who expected her to match her dress to the colour of the Irish Guards’ hat plume? The Princess is truly a master of dress diplomacy!
Our online royal correspondent, Danielle Stacey, explains:
"While the Princess of Wales has favoured pastel ensembles by Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham in the past, the aquamarine hue of her Catherine Walker coatdress appeared to be a nod to the plume of the hats of the Irish Guards — the regiment of which she is Colonel-in-Chief."
Prince Louis' perfect suit
Prince Louis was perfectly booted and suited for Trooping — has anyone ever seen a smarter-dressed seven-year-old? He really does carry it off so well, doesn’t he?
The Prime Minister and his wife
The Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, and his wife, Victoria Starmer, are also at the Horse Guards Parade.
Princess Charlotte's brooch
Princess Charlotte wore a gorgeous brooch today - a heirloom jewel that belonged to the late Queen. She first wore it for the late Queen's funeral back in 2022.
Flypast first
The King's Birthday Flypast this year is particularly special as The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team (RAFAT) will be using a circa 40% blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and normal jet fuel for propulsion and a renewable biofuel – Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) –for its smoke trails. This is thought to be the first time anywhere in the world that two environmentally friendly fuels are being used at the same time by a national aerobatic team.
A smile from George!
Prince George flashed a big smile as he and his siblings, alongside mum Catherine, made their way back to Buckingham Palace after watching the parade.

The heat, the sun, the pollen....
It all seemed to get a bit much for the Wales children during Trooping. Was it the soaring temperatures? The glaring sun? Or maybe the pollen? Either way - they powered through like pros!
Prince Louis powering through
Prince Louis seemed to have the same struggles as his big brother — but, just like George, he powered through.
The full balcony line-up
