A royal lunch
Donald Trump, Melania Trump, King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Waleses are set to have lunch in the state dining room of Windsor Castle before they visit the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II in St George's Chapel.
Later in the afternoon, we can expect a special Beating Retreat ceremony with a flypast of UK and US F-35 fighter jets and the Red Arrows.

Trump, Melania, Queen Camilla and King Charles were treated to a marvellous military display on the quadrangle.
An unprecedented military affair
Some 120 horses and 1,300 members of the British military were involved in the ceremonial welcome at Windsor. There was also 160 personnel from the Royal Marines and Royal Navy, 1,000 from the British Army as well as 140 from the Royal Air Force.
The UK and US national anthems played as Trump, Melania, Queen Camilla and King Charles looked on.
Trump has been invited to inspect the guards
Donald Trump has been invited to inspect the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards and Scots Guards, all of which are present in the quadrangle. It's also the first time that three state colours, rather than just one, will be on parade.
Royal procession continues through the grounds of Windsor
The King and the US president could be seen chatting away as the carriage procession set off through the grounds of Windsor.
The Queen and the First Lady followed closely behind and could also be seen deep in discussion.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were not far behind in the coach behind.
Donald and King Charles take carriage ride
After being greeted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, Donald Trump has just begun a carriage-led procession through the grounds of Windsor.
Star Spangled Banner plays during procession
As the carriage makes its way through the Windsor grounds, The Band of the Household Cavalry perform both the US and UK national anthems.
The route is lined by Armed Forces personnel from the Walled Garden to George IV Gate. The procession includes the Irish State Coach, the Scottish State Coach as well as the Semi-State Landau and two Ascot Landau carriages.
The procession is proceeding along Frogmore Drive, the George IV Gateway and toward the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle.
Princess of Wales and Prince of Wales greet the Trumps
The Princess of Wales and the Prince of Wales has greeted Donald Trump and Melania Trump. Kate wears a maroon Emilia Wickstead dress and a hat by Jane Taylor. She's also wearing a feather brooch for the occasion.
'A very British welcome'
Our Royal Editor, Emily Nash, who is on the ground at Windsor Castle, writes:
"The President and First Lady have landed at Windsor Castle. Marine One, along with two other US helicopters carrying American dignitaries and support staff, landed on the lawn of the Walled Garden, in a more cinematic entrance than most State visits.
Prince William took the lead, welcoming the Trump with a handshake and engaging them in conversation, stretching an arm out to his wife to draw her in.Prince William and Catherine escorted the President and First Lady on the short walk across the grass, onto the gravel path outside Victoria House where the King and Queen were waiting. The house, built in 1844, is not usually part of royal engagements, tucked away in the Windsor estate opposite a lawn large enough for the US contingent to land on."
Trump tells Kate 'you're so beautiful'
Donald Trump has complimented the Princess of Wales as he greeted her and Prince William when stepped of the plane. "You're so beautiful," he can be seen saying as he stepped off Marine One.
Things are running slightly late
Things are running slightly behind after the Trumps were initially expected at 11:55. However, it appears they are about to land now.
King Charles and Queen Camilla arrive
King Charles and Queen Camilla have arrived. Camilla is wearing a Sapphire blue dress, a coat by Fiona Clare and a hat Philip Treacy. She's also wearing a Sapphire and diamond brooch. Meanwhile King Charles is wearing a smart-looking suit.
Marine One takes flight
Trump's Marine One has just taken flight, it's expected to be a short journey to Windsor where the state visit will officially kick off.
They will be welcomed by the Prince and Princess of Wales in the Walled Garden on the Windsor estate. Prince William and Kate will then walk with them the short distance to meet the King and Queen outside the little-known Victoria House to launch the historic trip.
Queen Camilla to attend the state visit
Queen Camilla has made a full recovery from her acute sinusitis infection that prevented her from attending the Duchess of Kent's funeral yesterday.
Trumps set to leave for Windsor shortly
The Trumps are set to leave London for Windsor very shortly. The couple spent the night at Winfield House - the official residence of the US ambassador to the UK.
Trump's ceremonial military welcome will be the largest for a state visit in living memory
The Ministry for Defence has said that the UK Armed Forces is set to make a significant contribution to the state welcome. The scale and spectacle of the military ceremonial is tipped to be the largest military ceremonial welcome for a state visit to the UK in living memory.
This is the first time there has been a joint UK-US military flypast at a state visit. As well as this, Windsor will see the largest guard of honour ever at a state visit to the UK. There will also be a Beating Retreat, which is the first time it has been performed at a state visit. Over at Buckingham Palace, a US military band will take part in Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace on Friday for the first time in history.
Princess Charlene visits Princess Grace Hospital Centre
Princess Charlene, accompanied by the Monegasque Red Cross, visited the maternity ward at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre (CHPG) on yesterday morning. There, she met five new mothers and their newborn babies. In a warm atmosphere, the Princess took the time to talk with the families, offering them words of comfort and thoughtful gifts for the parents and babies.
Later in the day, the Princess appeared alongside Prince Albert for the Monaco Cup where she showed off her golfing skills in a chic white lace dress.
Protests to take place through the streets of London
A march organised by the Stop Trump Coalition is set to begin at 3pm today. Protesters from a range of different groups will march from Regent Street to Parliament Square and is expected to last until 7pm.
What are the Trumps' plans for today?
The president and first lady are set to be greeted at Windsor by a royal salute fired simultaneously from Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. They will then be taken to by carriage through the Windsor estate with King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Princess and Princess of Wales before having lunch in the state dining room.
Donald and Melania will then be taken to St George’s Chapel to lay a wreath on the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II. While there, they will be given a tour of the chapel and a performance by the chapel choir. The evening will end with a lavish white-tie state banquet inside Windsor Castle, which will welcome over 160 guests on Wednesday night.
Sadiq Khan pens scathing op-ed in opposition to Trump's state visit
London mayor, Sadiq Khan, has also penned a scathing op-ed about Trump's state visit, which was published in The Guardian overnight.
"Since the president's last state visit six years ago, the way we talk about politics has become darker, more divisive and dangerous. But London's soul and spirit are as inclusive and optimistic as ever," Sadiq wrote.
He acknowledged the UK Government's need for pragmatism when it comes to geopolitics, particularly in the face of Trump's tariffs, but he highlighted that the president's actions in his second term are "straight out of the autocrat's playbook."
Activists arrested after projecting Epstein images onto Windsor Castle
Having been in the country for less than 12 hours, Donald Trump is already causing quite the stir. Four people were arrested overnight after images of the president and convicted pedophile Epstein projected on to Windsor Castle.
The group, 'Everyone Hates Elon', also unfurled a massive banner featuring a photograph of Trump and Epstein near Windsor Castle, and later projected several images of the two on to one of the castle's towers. They also slipped plates and mugs featuring the same image into Windsor Castle's gift shop.

Today is a busy day for the British royal family as King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate prepare to host Donald Trump at Windsor for a state visit.
William and Kate will greet the President and First Lady and accompany them to meet Their Majesties. The King and Queen will formally welcome the President and First Lady outside, as a Royal Salute is fired from the East Lawn of Windsor Castle and at the Tower of London. Then, President Trump and Melania will join the King and Queen, and the Prince and Princess of Wales, in a Carriage Procession through the Windsor estate, towards the Castle.
The President and First Lady will join the King and Queen on the Royal Dais. President Trump and the King inspect a Guard of Honour at Windsor Castle before a lunch in the State Dining Room.
In the afternoon, the President and Mrs. Trump will visit St George’s Chapel, Windsor, to privately lay a wreath on the Tomb of Queen Elizabeth II.
In the evening, the King, accompanied by the Queen and Members of the royal family, will give a State Banquet at Windsor Castle. The King and the President will both deliver speeches at the beginning of the banquet.
Meanwhile, in her capacity as the patron of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, Princess Anne will attend the Centenary Awards Presentation at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
