Queen Camilla looks on
Queen Camilla watched on as the President of the Poppy Factory, Surgeon Rear Admiral Lionel Jarvis CBE DL, spoke at Westminster Abbey earlier today.
She looked sombre as she listened, having laid a remembrance cross down ahead of Armistice Day on 11 November.
Queen Camilla chats with a Chelsea pensioner
Queen Camilla was all smiles as she spoke with a Chelsea Pensioner during a visit to the 97th Field of Remembrance.
It came as the Poppy Factory brought a group of disabled veterans, a tray of poppies, and a collecting tin to the grounds of St Margaret's Church at Westminster Abbey.
Stay tuned this afternoon...
I am now handing you over to the lovely Ainhoa for an afternoon of royal news.

Princess Beatrice's husband's design talent
Hello everyone, it's Ainhoa here! Starting off the afternoon's blog with some interior design inspiration, courtesy of Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Edoardo, who is CEO of Banda Property, has shared an Instagram post showing off the design of an amazing cinema room. And it has the biggest corner sofa we've ever seen!

Inside Prince William's plane
The Prince of Wales has arrived in Belem, Brazil for the UN COP30 summit. Kensington Palace shared this photo of the Prince preparing his speech on the GBNI plane, where he was joined on board by Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Upon arrival, the two men were greeted by military and British embassy personnel.
In his speech, William is expected to highlight the need for urgent and inclusive climate action, and to galvanise world leaders to accelerate progress towards net zero.
Andrew officially loses titles
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is now officially no longer a prince. King Charles has now issued the Letters Patent stripping Andrew of his princely titles. An entry published by the Crown Office read: "THE KING has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of 'Royal Highness' and the titular dignity of 'Prince'."
Royal style shout-outs
Pivoting to more light-hearted news, we had to shine a light on some of our favourite stylish royal ladies - Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
The Spanish royal could have passed as the Princess of Wales in a red skirt and top; we can imagine Kate wearing this combo. While Maxima's grey coat is one we would love in our winter wardrobe!
Crown Princess Victoria's daring leopard print dress
A special mention to Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, who wore a truly daring leopard print dress. It wasn't just the animal print that caught my eye though, but the cut-out back design.
The future queen of Sweden was attending the presentation of the Marcus Wallenberg Prize at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.
Prince Harry's heartfelt essay
Ahead of Remembrance weekend, the Duke of Sussex has sent a heartfelt letter to bereaved military children who are supported by the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers.
Harry writes a letter to the children every year, and this year he penned: "Every time I see what Scotty's families do – the way you remember your loved ones while still finding joy and living life to the fullest – I'm reminded of just how strong and inspiring you all are. Your mums and dads would be so proud of you. We all are."
The Duke, who carried out two frontline tours to Afghanistan, is a long-time supporter of and global ambassador to the Norfolk-based charity, which helps children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the forces.
"This time of year can bring a lot of emotions – pride, love, and sometimes sadness – as you remember your parent or loved one who served our country," Harry wrote. "Please know you're not alone in that. You've got each other, and a whole community of friends and family who understand what this time means and who are standing right beside you, myself included."
Breaking News
Members of the US Congress have written to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor requesting an interview with him in connection with his "long-standing friendship" with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform said it is investigating the late financier’s “sex trafficking operation," and in a latter to the former Prince, revealed they are "seeking to uncover the identities of Mr Epstein’s co-conspirators and enablers, and to understand the full extent of his criminal operations."
“Well-documented allegations against you, along with your long-standing friendship with Mr Epstein, indicate that you may possess knowledge of his activities relevant to our investigation," it continued. "In the interest of justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, we request that you co-operate with the committee’s investigation by sitting for a transcribed interview with the committee."
"The Royal Family’s actions stripping Andrew of his titles show there is more to this story"
In a press release on November 6, U.S. Rep. Suhas Subramanyam stated: "After hearing from Epstein’s victims and public reporting of leaked documents, it is vital that Andrew [Mountbatten Windsor] cooperates with the ongoing investigation. If he is innocent, then he can clear his name. And if not, our investigation will show that, and the victims will receive long overdue justice. The Royal Family’s actions stripping Andrew of his titles show there is more to this story. Ranking Member Garcia and I will not stop pushing for answers and accountability."

Keeping dry
The Prince of Wales kept dry, holding his own umbrella as he and Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with young Brazilian leaders from the British Council's Next Generation programme at the Emilio Goeldi Museum in Belém. On November 6, Prince William delivered a powerful speech at the COP30 World Leaders Summit, where he called on world leaders to "be the generation that turned the tide." Prime Minister Keir Starmer reacts to Andrew's letter from U.S. lawmakers
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has spoken out about whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor should speak with U.S. lawmakers after the former Duke was sent a letter requesting that he appear before Congress for a transcribed interview about Jeffrey Epstein. "That in the end is a matter for him personally," the prime minister told traveling media in Belém. "My view and this is not about the individual case but more broadly is that anybody who has relevant information should always be willing to give it to whatever inquiry need that information. But the individual decision is a matter for him."
Prince Harry out in Canada
On the second day of his visit to Toronto, Prince Harry met Canadian veterans at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. The Duke of Sussex's visit to the centre highlighted innovative approaches to veteran care, including a helmet art initiative.
The helmet art initiative involves veterans transforming military helmets into works of personal expression, with each helmet telling a "unique story of service, resilience, and creativity." Harry helped paint one during his visit to the centre on November 6. The Duke’s engagement with these programs is said to underscore his long-standing commitment to innovative approaches in veteran care.
Prince William and a young fan
This photo is too adorable not to share! The Prince of Wales posed for a picture with a young boy who met the royal at the entrance to an engagement this afternoon in Belém.
"Thank you for a very warm welcome in Belém!" the Waleses' X account wrote alongside the photo.
Celebrating graduates
Princess Sofia of Sweden looked lovely in a merlot-colored dress on November 6 at Sophiahemmet University's graduation ceremony held at Stockholm City Hall. The Swedish royal has been the honorary chair of the Sophiahemmet non-profit association since 2016.
Prince Harry is sorry
During his visit to Canada, Prince Harry apologized for wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap at Game 4 of the World Series. The Duke of Sussex explained why he did so. Find out why here.
