Prince Carl Philip marked Sweden's National Day in the sweetest way as he was joined by his youngest daughter, Princess Ines, 15 months.
In a photo shared by the Swedish Palace, Carl Philip could be seen dressed up in a blue suit and naval hat, alongside a black tie, as he carried his youngest daughter, who was born in February 2025.
Little Ines was held away from the camera, but she looked so sweet in a traditional dress, consisting of the colours of the Swedish flag. Her hair was sweetly tied up with a hairband in matching colours.
The image was captioned: "Wishing you a happy national day!", alongside a flower emoji, and royal fans were quick to react to the adorable photo.
One said: "Happy National Day, I wish you [well] Prince Carl-Philip and little sweet Princess Ines and everyone in your family," while a second added: "Happy National Day, beautiful princely family, beautiful picture of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Ines."
A third commented: "Oh how cute you are together," and a fourth posted: "Wow adorable baby and handsome Dad." Many others wrote how "cute" or "adorable" Ines was looking.
Ines' first year
Princess Ines is the fourth child of Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. The couple welcomed their daughter on 7 February 2025, and marking her first birthday this year, they shared a sweet photo of their beaming daughter.
Ines looked so playful in the family snap, wearing a pretty blue dress with a frilled collar. "Today we celebrate our little ray of sunshine Ines, who turns 1 year old," a caption on the post read.
The youngest member of the Swedish royal family was christened on 13 June, the same day as her parents' wedding anniversary.
In October, Carl Philip and Sofia shared a stunning photo of their child in a thank-you card sent out in response to well-wishes for their daughter's christening.
The adorable photo shows Ines smiling in her christening gown. Inside the signed card, a message from the pair reads: "We would like to extend our warmest thanks for your kind wishes and thoughtfulness on the occasion of the Christening of our daughter, Princess Ines."
Months after it was announced that Sofia and Carl Philip were expecting their fourth child, the Princess admitted to Vogue Scandinavia that she "always, always, always dreamt of a family," calling it "one of my biggest goals in life. Not everyone has that – I had that".
“Both me and my husband come from a family of five – with three kids – so we thought that that would be a good number, and we felt quite satisfied with that," Sofia said. "But, gratefully, there's a bonus on the way. We feel very humble and grateful. It was maybe not in the plan, but now we are very, very excited. Especially the kids."
