Sarah Ferguson has reportedly travelled to Portugal to support her daughter Princess Eugenie post-birth, according to a new report by the Daily Mail.
The disgraced royal, who has been lying low since her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his titles and booted out of their shared home Royal Lodge, has allegedly arrived in the quiet village of Melides near Lisbon, where Eugenie and Jack have made a home for themselves away from the limelight.
© InstagramThe new report suggests "there has been talk that Sarah" is back in town in order to help Eugenie following the arrival of her third child, whom she welcomed last week. The royal is reportedly a regular at local restaurants, often joining Eugenie and Jack for dinner.
Eugenie gave birth at a private hospital in Lisbon and is recovering in her £3.6million oceanside home in the 722-acre Costa Terra community, a playground for millionaires and celebrities.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also own a new holiday home in the area, as do George and Amal Clooney. Following Sarah's arrival, the local area, known as the Iberian Hamptons, is being described as a "breakaway royal power base" for royals seeking to escape the Windsor spotlight.

It's not entirely unexpected that Sarah has managed to travel to Portugal undetected. HELLO!'s royal editor, Emily Nash, previously wrote that Sarah will find it difficult to stay away from her new granddaughter.
She explained in May: "This baby will be born into very different family dynamics to those experienced by his or her older siblings. While their grandmother and grandfather have spent plenty of time with August and Ernest, they are likely to keep more of a distance this time around, although I’m sure Sarah will find it very hard to stay away from a new grandchild."
Sarah has retreated from public life following renewed speculation over her long-standing association and financial ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Paddy passed away at the age of 88 in July 2026, prompting speculation about whether he would be leaving part of his fortune to Sarah in his will.
She was previously photographed in Austria back in March, staying at the £14,000-a-week MayrLife Clinic before her 90-day European Union stay ran out.
Sarah is also said to have spent some time at the Paracelsus Recovery Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, a place she once described as a "safe harbour in the storms of life".
Princess Eugenie welcomes her third child with Jack Brooksbank
News of Princess Eugenie’s birth was announced by Buckingham Palace on Tuesday in a statement. It read: "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3 rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.

The new baby, whose name has not yet been chosen, is 15th in line to the throne behind her two older brothers, August and Ernest. The newborn is also one of the first royals to be born outside of the UK, although she does not automatically qualify for Portuguese citizenship.
Eugenie and Jack split their time between their base in Portugal and the UK. The royal mum previously told HELLO! that one of the main benefits was raising her children in such a beautiful setting.
Discussing summers in the sun with her boys, she said: "They love swimming. The sea in Portugal is a little bit rougher. So we've got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. He literally loves it, and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls."

"Portugal is the dream because I can go to the supermarket in my exercise gear and my hair piled on my head and not mind. Not care. No one cares," Eugenie said.
