Charlie Sheen may be one of their most famous offspring, but all of his siblings have proven themselves in the film industry. Emilio Estevez
Born in 1962, Emilio Estevez is an older brother to all three of his siblings, and one of the Estevez family’s most famous stars. He became a household name thanks to starring roles throughout the ‘80s, including The Breakfast Club (1985) and Young Guns (1988), becoming known as a standout member of the Brat Pack.
He’s still performing today and returned to his role in The Mighty Ducks for the Game Changers series in 2021, as well as taking on producer and director roles for projects like The Way and The Public, in which he also acts. He shares two children, Taylor and Paloma, with his ex-partner, model Carey Salley.

Ramon Luis Estevez
Ramon Luis Estevez has joined his brothers in the family business, working as an actor and producer. He’s appeared on screen with their father Martin Sheen on Grace and Frankie and acted alongside his brother in The West Wing and The Way.
As for his production credits, Ramon has co-executive produced Anger Management as the lead of Estevez Sheen Productions and executive produced Anne of Green Gables (2016) as well as its sequels The Good Stars (2017) and Fire & Dew (2017).

Renée Estevez
Renée Estevez might not be as well known as her older brothers, but the actress has appeared in several feature film hits, including Heathers (1989) with Christian Slater and Winona Ryder, and Addams Family Reunion.
She also appeared in 44 episodes of The West Wing between 1999 and 2006, playing Nancy, as well as working with her brothers on The Way (2010). Renée last appeared on screen in 2015’s The Kustomonsters Movie. She’s been married to chef Jason Thomas Federico since 1997.

Famous family
Apocalypse Now’s Martin Sheen was as much of an Estevez family success story as each of his famous children, counting star roles in Bad Lands, The West Wing and Wall Street, as well as a more recent lead casting in comedy Grace and Frankie.
Martin has been married to his wife Janet since 1961, welcoming all four children together. Like Martin and Renée, Janet makes an appearance in 2010’s The Way, written, starring and directed by her son Emilio.

Stage name
While Charlie decided to follow in his footsteps and adopt the surname ‘Sheen’, the rest of Martin’s children have decided to go by ‘Estevez’. Martin himself regrets changing his last name.
Born Ramón Estévez, the decision to swap his surname reportedly originated in anti-Hispanic prejudice within the film industry, but the actor has since encouraged his children to keep their birth name in their film careers.

The four-time Primetime Emmy nominee has most recently appeared as an actor in TV series How to Be a Bookie, but it was the 2025 documentary tracing his life in the public eye and struggles with addiction.
