With roles in hits like The Hardy Boys, Parker Stevenson was the ultimate seventies heartthrob. Now aged 74, he may not have acted for the past five years, but he still makes regular public appearances to honor his work in hits like Baywatch — and he's almost unrecognizable. Read on to see what Parker is up to now…
Parker started acting in 1972, but his big break came four years later when he played Frank Hardy in The Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew Mysteries. With his seventies signature long brown hair, he soon became a heartthrob with legions of fans.
The actor's next long-running television role was in Baywatch, where he played Craig Pomeroy across seasons one, eight and nine. He also directed an episode of the show in season three.
Parker still represents Baywatch at Comic Con events, and was pictured on the red carpet for After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun in 2024.
Parker had a high-profile marriage to actress Kirstie Alley between 1983 to 1997. The couple adopted two children together, William True Stevenson and Lillie Parker Graham, and revealed that the reason they split was "nothing other than maybe different goals in life".
When Kirstie passed away from colon cancer in 2022, Parker paid tribute to his ex-wife, writing on Instagram: "Dear Kirstie, I am so grateful for our years together, and for the two incredibly beautiful children and now grandchildren that we have. You will be missed. With love, Parker."
In 2018, Parker married for a second time. He is now married to Lisa Schoen, a chef and food stylist, who he met by chance when they became neighbors at a beachfront complex.
"I moved upstairs into a duplex at the beach, and she'd temporarily swapped her place in New York for the downstairs unit. She asked me if I had a big stock pot, and it turned out I did. She returned the favor two days later with the pot filled with the best chicken soup I've ever had," Parker told Closer.
Photographer Todd MacMillan shared a series of portraits of Parker on his Instagram in June, with the caption: "Down on the West Coast, they got their icons."
The images showed a close-up glimpse of Parker standing on a beach, with grey hair and a beard in place of his famous brunette hair. "Still so handsome," one fan commented, while another wrote: "What a stunning photo of Parker. So photogenic."
After a long-running acting career, Parker revealed he still has "so much" on his bucket list. Speaking in 2023, he told Closer: "I'd like to go for an extended period of time with Lisa to Spain or England, where she'd get to work with food of that region, and I'd shoot that experience with my camera."
