Kelly Osbourne has had a rollercoaster couple of years and confessed her mind and body have paid the price.

The former reality TV star revealed she's gained almost 30lbs in recent months after appearing painfully thin at the 2026 BRIT Awards in February.

Talking to The Sun about her transformation, she said: "I didn’t know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures. When I saw them, I couldn't [expletive' believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else."

Kelly said that following her dad Ozzy Osbourne's death and the break-up with her former fiance, Sid Wilson, it has been "the worst year" of her life.

"It wasn’t an eating disorder. I just couldn’t do anything for myself," she added. "Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up."

While it has been a particularly challenging time for Kelly, she can also see some positive aspects.

"In so many ways, I can't even explain to you. But it's also been really beautiful because I've learned that my grief is an honor, as I truly love someone that much."

Kelly told the outlet that she reached out to her father after his death.

"I went to my dad's grave with a white candle and I wrote a wish on it saying, 'Please help me,'" she revealed. Her mom, Sharon Osbourne, then arrived with therapist and life coach, Chris Miller, who Kelly says saved her life.

Kelly says she's working on her wellbeing

Kelly previously opened up to HELLO! in her first exclusive photoshoot and interview since the loss of her dad.

After admitting she "wasn't well," she said she has been slowly working on her wellbeing.

"I didn't navigate it – I wasn't well," Kelly told HELLO! about dealing with the negative press. "How can you navigate something so cruel when you're so sick? I'm getting a lot better. I've got all the help I need and I’m grateful for the support I have in my life.

"[I have] this incredible team of people I’ve built around me who are not just my friends, because what you'll find when you're grieving is that people don't know how to handle it, and you do lose a lot of friends. But the ones who stick around are the real ones.

"To go through what I had to go through on top of all of that just made it even harder. So I just had to ignore it."
