Star Wars queen Natalie signs up for medieval fantasy flick

Following her memorable portrayal of Queen Padme Amidala in the Star Wars series, Natalie Portman is set to play another royal role. She'll be heading to Northern Ireland this summer to film Your Highness.

The movie, to be shot in Belfast, has been billed as a "tale of two spoiled and arrogant princes in a medieval fantasy setting".

In the Eighties-style fantasy flick a "complete mess-up" of a prince, played by writer and Land Of The Lost actor Danny McBride, embarks on a quest to save his father's kingdom.

Natalie's character, a warrior princess, is Danny's love interest, while Spider-Man actor James Franco plays his marginally more heroic brother.

Excitement is mounting in the Irish city, which is anticipating a £10 million boost to the economy as hundreds of local cast members, extras and crew are hired.
