Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood arrested over assault
Veteran rocker Ronnie Wood has been arrested on suspicion of assault, Surrey police have revealed.
A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that a 62-year-old man from Esher, Surrey, was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with a domestic incident in Claygate High Street."
He was reportedly kept in police cells overnight before being let out on bail on Thursday afternoon.
Ronnie has been released until a later date in January pending "further enquiries".
The guitarist, who divorced wife Jo last month, is currently renting a lavish home in Claygate, near Esher, with his 21-year-old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
Earlier this year, police were called to the London home the couple shared following a blazing row.
