There was a right royal mix-up on Wednesday when a Thai princess attempted to chat with Princess Beatrice at Paris Fashion Week.
Fashionable Sirivannarvari Nariratana was prevented from introducing herself by Bea's protection officer, reports the Daily Telegraph.
"We don't comment on security issues," said the British royal's spokesman.
It's a pity they didn't get the chance to meet at the Elie Saab show.
Sirivannarvari is the granddaughter of the country's revered King Bhumibol.
And the two blue-blooded fashionistas would, no doubt, have found they have lots in common.
The beautiful Thai lady is one of the most attractive royals in the world, according to Forbes magazine.
Sirivannarvari, 24, is a fashion student and has had her own collections.
Her debut range in Paris, entitled Presence of the Past, drew on memories of her grandmother as well as giving a modern twist to Thai traditional costume.
Meanwhile, after the criticism of her royal wedding outfit, Beatrice, 23, bounced back with a makeover and is looking more fabulous than ever.
As she proved in a red shift dress by the Lebanese designer which contrasted favourably with her auburn locks.
She teamed the elegant frock with a gold clutch and court shoes.
