Petra Ecclestone bought Spelling mansion for dogs

Those wondering why 22-year old newlywed Petra Ecclestone would need a 57,000 square foot LA mansion, including its five acres of land, might just have their answer.

Living between her £56 million Chelsea home and Hollywood, Petra has said that she needs the new space to focus on her career and to accommodate herself, husband James Stunt, and her dogs.

In July, the daughter of Formula One boss, Bernie Ecclestone, bought the £91m house that was formerly owned by US TV mogul, Aaron Spelling.

The luxury French-chateua style home, which is listed as the most expensive property in the US, also has a beauty salon, a cinema and more than 100 rooms, as well as parking for 100 cars.
