Famed for her spectacular concerts, Lady Gaga had a lot to live up to as she performed in front of 55,000 fans in Twickenham.
She hasn't been on stage in the UK for over two years, so the superstar was determined to put on a show.
And with marching bands and a scale model of a castle - reportedly the the largest touring prop of all time - the diminutive singer did just that .
Also showcasing a series of outlandish outfits, such as the Statue of Liberty smoking a cigarette, Lady Gaga seemed overwhelmed by the crowd's support during the concert.
She said: "They said I was making music for a niche audience."
"Well this is a big niche. I like a stadium niche."
The star also performed a cover of John Lennon's Imagine, dedicated to her idols Princess Diana, Amy Winehouse, Sylvia Plath and her friend and late designer Alexander McQueen.
Lady Gaga has sold more than 65 million singles worldwide.
