Rap star P Diddy unveils his own waxwork in New York

Music mogul P Diddy was in New York on Tuesday to unveil his own waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

The lifelike replica, which shows the singer in a white tuxedo jacket and black bow tie and trousers, will sit alongside those of other esteemed rap performers - including Snoop Dogg and the Notorious BIG - at the museum.

Joined by his mother, sister, nephew and son Justin for the unveiling, the hip-hop star and record producer was pleased to see how well they had captured his look.

"It looks very realistic - one of the more realistic ones," added the singer, who modelled for three hours in front of the sculpting team for the figure.

"It's hard to explain looking at yourself like this. They did an excellent job."
