British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber was sent back to hospital following the development of a infection from the operation he had three weeks ago to remove his prostate.
The 61-year-old music mogul has been battling prostate cancer for about a month.
A statement on his website read: "He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative 'chronic infection' which needs immediate treatment."
This setback will leave him confined to his hospital room for three to four days.
Lord Lloyd-Webber has vowed to beat the disease. He hopes to return to work as soon as January to begin rehearsals for his newest show, Love Never Dies, a sequel to his world famous production, Phantom of the Opera.
