Camilla makes clever sartorial choice for Asian women event

Since marrying Prince Charles in 2005 Camilla has developed a deft touch when it comes to electing exactly the right outfit for official events . And this was never more evident than in her clever choice for the Asian Woman of Achievement awards.

On hand to see her husband honoured at the ceremony, the Duchess was bang on trend in one of  this summer's hottest colours. And she'd evidently had in mind the colourful saris worn by many of the evening's guests in picking out the vibrant royal blue beaded tunic jacket elaborately embroidered with silver thread by one of her favourite designers, Anna Valentine.

Camilla has continued to favour the London couture designer since wearing a dress created by Anna and her partner Antonia Robinson at her wedding to Charles.

"I love dressing the Duchess," the Kensington-based couturier has said of her famous client. "She gives a lot of her own input, but she is always very happy for us to suggest things"
