In a break with tradition, Kate Middleton and Prince William will have two cakes at their April 29 wedding.
Kate has been integral in the design of the traditional offering - a multi-tiered fruit cake, made by Leicestershire baker Fiona Cairns (pictured).
The second cake - a groom's cake - is based on a childhood favourite of William's.
It is an unbaked chocolate biscuit creation, which will be made by McVitie's according to a secret royal family recipe.
