Michael Jackson's doctors won't face charges

Seven doctors who treated Michael Jackson in the years before his death will not face charges, US officials have confirmed.

California's Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement was investigating the way the doctors had prescribed drugs.

One of them was referred to California's state medical board for prescribing drugs under an alias.

Michael's personal physician Dr Conrad Murray wasn't interviewed as part of the investigation.

He faces a separate manslaughter charge in a wrongful death civil case.

Dr Murray has always denied any wrongdoing.
