Jennifer Lopez battling first husband Ojani in court

A California appeals court has said a dispute between Jennifer Lopez and first husband Ojani Noa over the release of intimate home videos should be handled through arbitration, not the public court system.

A ruling on Friday by the 2nd District Court of Appeal states that a Los Angeles judge erred by not granting Jennifer's request to move the case to arbitration.

The ruling states she has a valid agreement with her ex-husband and his agents preventing him from releasing "any private or intimate details" about the couple's relationship.

The pair wed in 1997. Their marriage lasted just 11 months.

They have been fighting in court for nearly two years over his plans to use portions of more than 11 hours of home videos of him and J Lo for a movie.
