28 APRIL 2010

In the face of alleged discord on the set of Desperate Housewives, the show's leading ladies joined forces to issue a statement declaring their love for the series, and for each other.

That same affection between the stars was evident again this week as they came together to celebrate the launch of Eva Longoria Parker's debut fragrance.

Joining Eva at the unveiling of her signature scent were her co-stars Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman, who were both clearly delighted for the petite brunette.

After six years working together on Wisteria Lane, the trio have developed a shared sense of fun, and they larked around on the red carpet at the event at Eva's LA restaurant, Beso.

Teri and Felicity – who play Susan Mayer and Lynette Scavo respectively – weren't the only Desperate Housewives supporting Eva, famous for starring as Gabrielle Solis.

Brenda Strong – the series' narrator, Mary Alice Young - was also on hand to support the Texas-born beauty, as was Orson Hodge actor, Kyle MacLachlan.

Of course, it wasn’t only her colleagues stepping out for the celebrations. Eva's off-screen friend Heidi Klum was also at the bash, making quite a statement with slicked back hair and smoky eye makeup.

When it came to the creation of her very first perfume, 35-year-old Eva rejected a number of combinations before deciding upon a fragrance that includes violet freesias, citrus and sandalwood notes.

Speaking about the finished product, which is housed in a curvy bottle to mimic the female form, Eva told People magazine: "I have always been somewhat allergic to all perfumes and really wanted to create something that every woman can wear."

"So I decided to create my own fragrance that is light, fresh and unique. I think the scent of a woman is extremely sexy and this scent will prove that.
