Jennifer Lopez had a monster weekend, sizzling in a rare concert appearance and triumphing at the box office with her latest flick.
The multifaceted singer-actress took to the stage for a California radio station's Wango Tango music fest, joining fellow music crossovers Will Smith and a newly-blonde Lindsay Lohan in the star-studded line-up.
Clad in a belly-baring top, low-slung hip huggers and loads of bling, Jennifer thrilled the crowd with an energy-packed set, including her latest single, Hold You Down, a duet with rapper Fat Joe.
Having laid low since her wedding to salsa singer Marc Anthony, the once-ubiquitous 35-year-old was back with a vengeance, with her new big screen comedy, Monster-In-Law, pulling in $24 million – her strongest-ever box office opening.
The film, which co-stars Jane Fonda in her first major film role in 15 years, beat popular comedian Will Farrell's Kicking & Screaming to number one.
Meanwhile, Jennifer has another reason to make merry - the thrice-wed diva celebrates her first wedding anniversary with Marc next month. |
