Fans of French singer Vanessa Paradis were in for a treat this week when Johnny Depp's 34-year-old partner made a rare appearance at a Paris charity gig. The multi-talented celeb - she also acts and models - sang alongside other well-known Gallic music stars at Tuesday's Aids fundraising event.
Vanessa, who was just 15 years old when she shot to fame in the Eighties with the hit single Joe Le Taxi, was joined by former tennis player-turned-crooner Yannick Noah at the city's legendary Olympia music hall.
Despite her early rise to stardom, Vanessa keeps a more low-key profile these days, spending time with Johnny and their two children, Jack and Lily-Rose, at their £1.5-million family home in Plan de la Tour in the South of France. It is there that the photogenic couple are, according to reports, due to wed this summer in a small, private ceremony.
