On receiving a wedding invitation, the first thought that pops into our heads is the inevitable worry that plagues all guests: 'What am I going to wear?'
Many wedding guests select their outfit based on location - a cocktail dress for beach or city nuptials, a more practical yet stylish two-piece for more rural settings, such as a farm, and a formal evening dress for grand and glamorous ceremonies.
However, this isn't the only way to go about choosing your wedding attire.
The time of day in which the ceremony takes place sets forth an endless array of colours on which you can base your wedding wardrobe: for midday, yellows and creams full of light; for the afternoon, tan, sand or salmon-pink colours to mirror the fading light and for the evening, deep violet, petrol-blue and black.
