Just days after announcing her engagement to long term partner Mark Womack, EastEnders actress Samantha Janus was the picture of contentment as she enjoyed a family outing with their two children and Mark's son Michael, to see animated movie Bolt.

The blonde star and her Sorted actor fiancé, who met when they worked together on police drama Liverpool 1 and have been together - off and on - for ten years, are planning an intimate spring ceremony. Their children - three-year-old Lily-Rose and eight-year-old Ben - will play a key part.

Mark asked for Sam's hand while they were browsing a flea market in Paris. "He said, 'Do you want one of these rings?'," reveals the Brighton-born star, whose first marriage to Italian pilot Mauro Mantovani ended in 1998. "I said, 'Is that a proposal?' and he said, 'Yes'."

Other familiar faces checking out the family flick, which was voiced by John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, were Paul Gascoigne's children - stepdaughter Bianca, 22, and 12-year-old son Regan. Waterloo Road actress Angela Griffin was also there with daughter Tallulah Jae.
