It wouldn't be a This Morning night out if there wasn't some sort of mishap but it turns out Holly Willoughby suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction just minutes before she was due to go on stage at the TV Choice Awards. On Tuesday's show, hosts Phillip and Holly thanked viewers for their Best Daytime award win and explained two mishaps that occurred during the evening - one of which was an unfortunate, and painful, moment for poor Holly.
Holly told viewers: "Yes, before that I actually almost didn't quite make it to the stage because I managed to get my finger stuck in my handbag… so obviously Phillip is the person to help me, but instead of actually helping me get my finger out of my bag, he whipped out his phone and caught the moment on camera!”
Holly continued, “It was like a ring and I had got it wedged… it [my finger] was going purple on the end!”
Phillip said, “It was proper stuck!”
You can't take this pair anywhere, can you?

Revealing how this was not the first time she has experienced such faux pas, Holly said, “I’ve had so many… the time at Number 10 [Downing Street] was a big one, that was when the zip went on my dress and I was stuck in the loo with no phone, because you have to give it in to security. And I had to wear my coat wrapped around me like some sort of flasher's mac… and at school, I got off a trampoline in gym kit and my gym pants got caught on the spring and I was left dangling! And it was lucky I went to an all girls school because they had to cut me out. So it’s happened for a long time, those moments!”
It's not all bad news for Holly though because she's a new Brand Ambassador for Marks & Spencer! Apart from her awkward bag moment - which by the way is from Kurt Geiger - Holly looked absolutely stunning in her designer suit.
Revealing the award, Phillip said, “We’d like to start by thanking you for this! It’s our TV Choice Award and it's always such an honour to receive this award because we know that it’s voted for by people who read TV Choice, so thank you so much for everyone who voted for us. And it’d be rude not to show you our winning moment…”
