A month has now passed since Marcia Cross tied the knot with her stockbroker love Tom Mahoney and if the smile on her face on Monday afternoon is anything to go by, newlywed life suits the Desperate Housewives star just fine. The flame-haired actress was grinning from ear to ear when she was photographed near her home in California this week.
With an elegant sunhat to shield her porcelain skin from harmful UV rays, and a simple green top to offset her striking red locks, the performer seemed more than content as she checked out the shops in Brentwood.
New clothes may not be the only acquisition the 44-year-old has in mind, though, as reports stateside suggest she and her new husband are hoping to have children as soon as possible. The couple was apparently spotted visiting a family planning clinic in Los Angeles on June 26, just two days after they made their vows before a select group of family and friends.
And while there's little doubt Tom has managed to put a smile on Marcia's face, the actress says he also deserves credit for her radiant good looks. "My favourite beauty product is Tom," she said in a recent interview. "I think beauty comes from being happy and connected to the people we love, and his love makes me feel beautiful."
