Suki Waterhouse is headed for the big screen. Bradley Cooper's model girlfriend has landed a role in the Divergent franchise, in the trilogy's second installment, Insurgent.
The 22-year-old has been cast as Marlene, a member of the Dauntless faction, who becomes a friend of heroine Tris, played by Shailene Woodley.
It's not Suki's first acting job. She has previously appeared in the TV series Material Girl and also the 2012 British crime thriller Pusher.

The Divergent films are based on the novels by Veronica Roth and set in a post-apocalyptic version of Chicago in which citizens are divided into factions based on aptitude tests.
Insurgent will see leading actors Shailene, 22, and English actor Theo James, 29, reprise their roles, alongside villain Kate Winslet.

Production for the film began this week in Atlanta. The plot sees Tris and Four (Theo) on the run, hunted by Jeanine (Kate), the leader of the Erudite elite. They must find out what Tris' family sacrficied their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.
