Fans have been given their first look at the new series of Cold Feet. ITV aired the football-themed teaser during halftime of the England vs Slovakia Euro 2016 match on Monday night, and it proved to be a big hit with viewers.
The new revival is set 13 years after the original Cold Feet finished, and will show how Adam (James Nesbitt) has coped with raising his now-teenage son Matthew, following the death of his wife Rachel (Helen Baxendale) in a car accident at the end of series five.

The teaser trailer gives a glimpse inside their father/son relationship, showing the pair sitting together in the local pub watching Adam's beloved Manchester United play on TV – before Matthew delivers the devastating news to his dad that he finds football "a bit boring".
The new Cold Feet series will reunite James' character with all five surviving original cast members – Robert Bathurst (David), Hermione Norris (Karen), John Thomson (Pete) and Fay Ripley (Jenny).
Cold Feet will return to ITV later this year
James previously revealed that the revival will also include a tribute to his late on-screen wife Rachel. "To be without her has been sad really, we just wanted to get a little tribute into her in the first episode, which I hope she sees," he said.
In an interview with the Radio Times in May, Hermione admitted that she was initially reluctant to revisit her character for fear of tainting the show's memory. "It was really good, of its time, and I didn't want to undo anything positive that we had created back then," she said. "But I was persuaded it would be interesting to see how they have been dealing with things."
Cold Feet returns to ITV for eight all-new episodes later in the year.
