Although ITV are yet to formally announce that the live shows will go ahead in the near future, despite government advice now stating that TV recording can go ahead, there is hope for viewers. The Voice Kids backstage presenter AJ Odudu recently told HELLO! in an exclusive interview that she was looking forward to having the gang back together when the shows do eventually go ahead.

The Voice backstage presenter AJ chatted to HELLO! about the return of the live shows

She told HELLO!: "I can't wait to see them again. We keep in touch via Zoom and Emma organises themed quizzes. I feel like everyone is giving up on the Zoom quizzes, but not us. We're still hanging on in there." On the return of the talent show, the former Big Brother's Bit on the Side presenter couldn't contain her joy. "I'm so excited for it to be back," she said. "It's an amazing team and such a feel-good, uplifting show. The children are fun and it's a great atmosphere to be around – just what we need after the last few months."

Paloma Faith is joining the judging panel

The fourth series sees the return of McFly singer Danny Jones, Pixie Lott, Will.i.am return to their hot seats. The fourth seat will see newcomer Paloma Faith take over from previous judge Jessie J. Emma Willis will be reprising her presenting duties. On joining the show, Paloma said: "It's going to be so much fun working with these young singers, helping them find their voices and be the best they can be. From what I've seen; although they're small, their voices are often mighty and can give most adults a run for their money!"
