Congratulations are in order for Good Morning America host Michael Strahan, who has welcomed a baby girl with his girlfriend, Kayla Quick.
HELLO! understands the 54-year-old morning show host and former NFL star, and Kayla, 36, welcomed their baby girl earlier this year; TMZ first reported the news.
Michael is now a dad of five, and the former New York Giants player has long proudly spoken of the joy he finds in being a father. He is dad to daughter Tanita, 34 and son Michael Jr., 31, with first ex-wife, Wanda Hutchins, and 21-year-old twin daughters Isabella and Sophia with second ex-wife, Jean Muggli
The NFL star has been linked to Kayla, a businesswoman and founded Fizzness, a beauty-based wellness brand which sells single-packet powdered drinks, for 11 years, telling Andy Cohen in October 2015 that he was off the market.
But they have kept their romance firmly out of the spotlight, with Kayla only making several public appearances in the last decade, including a 2016 appearance with Michael to watch Kinky Boots on Broadway.
In 2018, they attended the US Open with Isabella and Sophia, proving the importance of her role in his girls' lives, and she has made a few appearances in social media posts, including a Christmas 2021 post, in which the couple posed clad in matching pajamas next to three of his four children, and at Isabella and Sophia's graduation ceremonies; the girls attended different high schools.
Kayla also featured in a campaign with Isabella for Michael's coconut water, 100 Coconuts.
In 2023, Kayla made a by-then rare public appearance alongside his children to help Michael celebrate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she was also there for Michael when Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, in October 2023, weeks after moving to Los Angeles to enroll at USC.
Isabella underwent emergency surgery to remove the mass before embarking on radiation treatment and several rounds of chemotherapy, documenting much of her experience through a candid YouTube series.
In July 2024, Isabella shared the news her family had been hoping for when she revealed she was officially cancer-free.
