Speculation about who will be the new James Bond rages on, but while the world waits with bated breath to find out who will be crowned 007, our attention is still on former Bond, Daniel Craig.
Since departing the role of the world's most famous spy, 58-year-old Daniel Craig has treated us to fashion campaigns (who could forget his Loewe ad?) as well as a star turn in the Glass Onion film franchise, but one thing he has kept mostly out of the public eye is his private life with fellow actor Rachel Weisz. Unlike many celebrity couples, Daniel and Rachel are notoriously private, making them unique in the world of A-listers.
Behind closed doors with Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz
The thespian couple have been married since 2011 and share one daughter, Grace, who was born in 2018.
Rachel has a son named Henry, born in 2006, from her relationship with her former partner Darren Aronofsky, while Daniel is dad to Ella Loudon, born in 1992, from his marriage to his first wife, Fiona Loudon.
They split their time between a £6 million property in Primrose Hill, London, and until recently, a home in New York City.
Reports say they sold their NYC townhouse for a whopping $11.8 million in April 2026. It's not known where they've relocated to, but it's likely they've maintained a base in the United States, as Rachel's son Henry, 20, is reportedly studying engineering at Harvard, alongside an internship in California, so he is based full-time in the US.
Henry also went to school in America, attending Brooklyn's Saint Ann's school, from which he graduated in 2024. Perhaps since he finished school, there was no need for the family to stay in Brooklyn, hence the move? It's not known where the couple's shared daughter, Grace, attends school, but back in 2022, Daniel and Rachel were seen dropping her off at pre-school in New York.
As for Ella? Like her father and stepmother, she divides her time between homes, hopping between New York, Scotland, and Hudson in upstate New York – "a place she always returns to when she isn't traveling for work," reads a profile with the actress and model written by clothing brand Eleven Six.
Speaking of not having a solid base, Ella explained: "I move too much. I know I need to be in one place for longer periods of time. It's better for my head, relationships and dog! I used to run away a lot, so now so I like having one home as my grounding, ensures I face things and get [expletive] done. But you do have to go where work takes you."
Daniel Craig's relationship with his oldest daughter
Given that Daniel and Rachel have been together since 2010 - when Ella was 18 - she likely has a relationship with her dad's wife.
She's spoken in the past about how Daniel's work has impacted her over the years, explaining: "I am so proud of my dad's accomplishments, but he is my dad, not this character he became so strongly associated with, it was a job and it transformed our lives."
Of how her life changed when he was cast as Bond in 2005, Ella added: "He became 'famous' in my pre-teens, so I was already trying to figure out who the hell I was and then I had a public opinion trying to define me.
"Puberty and a shift from state school to private, and so a bit of a class culture change too. We had desperate neighbours who would talk to the press and it became very isolating."
Despite negative experiences with this side of fame, Ella opted to go into the acting world, concentrating mainly on stage work, appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026 - we wonder if Daniel will be watching on proudly?
