Lockdown may have stripped us of our social life, but it did bring about something to look forward to – celebrity baby announcements! Clearly, 2020 was the year for baby making, with TV stars, A-listers and even royalty giving birth this year.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's baby August

Princess Eugenie delighted royal fans when she shared the very first photos of her newborn son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank after his birth on 9 February. The adorable little royal is soon to have a new cousin too, with Eugenie's younger sister Princess Beatrice due to welcome her baby in the Autumn this year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby Lillibet Diana

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex thrilled royal fans when they announced the birth of their first daughter, Lillibet 'Lili' Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Prince Harry revealed the young royal was named after his grandmother, the Queen and also his late mother, Princess Diana. How sweet!

2021 has been quite the year for royal babies, with the Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall welcoming her third child, Lucas Philip Tindall on 21 March.

Although most royal mothers prefer to give birth at the Portland hospital, like the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Eugenie, Zara's third birth was such a surprise, that their royal baby arrived at home in their bathroom.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Rugb‪y podcast, proud father Mike said that Lucas "arrived very quickly. Didn’t make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor."

Binky Felstead and Max Darnton's baby Wulfric

Made in Chelsea original Binky Felstead had a very regal post-lockdown birth, welcoming her first son with fiancé Max Darnton at the same hospital Kate Middleton had her children.

Sister to four-year-old India, Binky's son Wulfric Alexander Fredrik Darnton will be known as 'Wolfie' - just like Princess Beatrice's stepson. Adorable!

Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes' baby

The Ridin' Solo singer welcomed his first child on 8 May with girlfriend, model Jena Frumes.

In an adorable Instagram post, Jena shared a series of post-birth photos from the hospital room where she delivered her newborn, and looked so radiant as a new mother!

Christine Quinn and Christian Richard's baby Christian

Their wedding which aired on the last season of Selling Sunset was the wedding to beat all weddings. Loved for her fierce friendship loyalty and exquisite luxury lilfestyle, new mother Christine Quinn and husband Christian Richard welcomed baby Christian Georges Dumontet on 15 May.

In an interview with People, Christine revealed: "My protective mama bear mentality is stronger than ever. My sole job is to protect him, to love him and to raise him."

Dr Zoe Williams and Stuart McKay's baby

This Morning's Dr Zoe Williams delighted fans on 13 June as she and partner Stuart McKay announced the birth of their first child.

In a touching Instagram post, the London-based GP told fans: "So delighted to announce that baby Williams-McKay has arrived and we are all safe, sound and doing great."

The couple are enjoying some private time with their newborn before they officially announce any name details.

Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling's baby Arthur

Ellie and husband Caspa chose to make their birth announcement in the Births, Deaths and Marriages section of The Times, which further confirmed that their son Arthur Ever Winter Jopling arrived on 29 April. Adorable!

Natalie Dormer and David Oakes' baby

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer took to the That’s After Life podcast to share the adorable news that her daughter, reportedly named Willow had been born. The star admitted it was the "perfect thing to do during a pandemic", to "get pregnant and have a baby."

"She’ll probably be sitting in a bar in 30 years’ time on a date going, ‘Yeah, I’m a COVID baby,'” the actress joked.

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner's baby

The former Victoria's Secret Angel officially announced her pregnancy via Instagram in November 2020 after weeks of speculation.

The 28-year-old supermodel and her husband, Joshua Kushner announced their joyful news in an Instagram post on Sunday 14 March. The proud father wrote, "Welcome to the world ".

Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear McClard's baby Sylvester

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski announced the birth of her first son, Slyvester Apollo Bear, on Thursday 11 March. In a sweet post, the star shared a photograph of herself breastfeeding her newborn and looking lovingly at their face.

"Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side", she captioned the photo.
