There's something about Duchess Kate - from her clothes, to her haircuts and her make-up looks, the British public can't get enough of the elegant royal. And the same can now be said about Prince Harry's fiancée Meghan Markle, who has been causing a stir with her chic, laidback style. It's especially interesting when we are given an insight into the beauty products used by the two ladies - and it seems they both share a penchant for British luxury brand Jo Malone.

Duchess Kate lit Jo Malone's Orange Blossom candles at her 2011 wedding

Duchess Kate famously had Jo Malone's Orange Blossom candles lit in Westminster Abbey during her wedding to Prince William in April 2011. The crisp, fresh orange scent created a luxurious and opulent atmosphere inside the venue as William and Kate exchanged their vows, and has been used by a number of brides on their special day ever since.

The candle is available online at Jo Malone, for £45

Clarence House, meanwhile, confirmed that the Duchess wore White Gardenia Petals by Illumiumfor her nuptials. The small brand behind the soft, subtle fragrance became an overnight sensation as soon as the news broke - and even now, six years on, it is still notoriously hard to get hold of. Illumium did, however, make a similar scent called Rose Oud eau de parfum, which is also a great seller for the brand and is available from Selfridges, for £125, in a stylish, art deco style bottle.

Meghan Markle has a passion for pefumes

Meghan, meanwhile, has a passion for perfume. Speaking to the Express, she previously revealed: "Fragrance is my favourite thing. So much so that if I leave the house and I don't put any on, I'll turn around and go back home."

Oribe's Cote d'Azur Eau de Parfum is a favourite of Meghans

The 36-year-old reportedly alternates between a collection of scents, but especially enjoys Oribe's Cote d'Azur Eau de Parfum, £65, and both the Wild Bluebell and Wood Sage & Sea Salt colognes by Jo Malone, which are priced at £90 each and are available now from the luxury high-end perfumer.
