King Charles and Queen Camilla have attended both days of Royal Ascot this year, and on Wednesday, the royal pair were joined by one of the monarch's more rarely-seen relatives.

The duo were seated with Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband during the carriage procession on the second day. Lady Sarah looked incredibly stylish in a cream dress and matching wide-brimmed hat, in an outfit that was incredibly similar to that of Camilla's.

Her husband, meanwhile, looked suave in a dark suit as he joined his wife.

Later in the day, Sarah could be seen joining one of her other cousins, Princess Anne, at the races, with the pair both keeping their eyes on the racing horses.

Lady Sarah is the daughter of the late Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones and is the cousin of Charles. Although she doesn't carry out any royal duties, she can occasionally be seen joining the royal family at wider events.

Lady Sarah's recent outings

She was last seen in public when she attended Peter and Harriet Phillips' wedding earlier in the month. Lady Sarah looked flawless in a white shirt and dark maxi-skirt, as she was joined by her brother, David Armstrong-Jones, and her eldest son, Samuel Chatto.

Beforehand, she was among the royals who headed to the British Museum to view the final designs for a memorial to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who was Lady Sarah's aunt.

The late Queen was said to "adore" Sarah and would allow her niece to accompany her to her favourite hideaway, Craigowan Lodge, in Aberdeenshire. The pair were particularly close since the death of Princess Margaret, with whom Elizabeth shared an incredibly strong bond.

When she lost her beloved husband Prince Philip in April 2021, she spent quiet time grieving at her Scottish home of Balmoral, where close family came to visit her. Lady Sarah was among those family members who stayed with her. She subsequently attended Philip's funeral, which was limited to just 30 people owing to coronavirus restrictions at the time.

The late Queen isn't the only royal that Lady Sarah is close with, as she also enjoys a strong bond with her eldest cousin, serving as the chief bridesmaid at his wedding to Princess Diana in 1981.
