11 Coronation drinks to say 'cheers' with! From Champagne to Gin, Whiskey & MORE

Following the success of their limited-edition release to mark the Queen’s Jubilee in 2022, the team at Nyetimber has now launched a new bottle to celebrate the Coronation of His Royal Highness Charles III on 6th May 2023.

The Coronation Edition Classic Cuvée has been dressed in an iridescent oyster-coloured sleeve decorated with golden graphics and a patriotic Union Jack. 

King Charles III is renowned for being a committed environmentalist, so this eco-friendly bottle features fully recyclable packaging, including a discreet perforation that allows the sleeve to be separated from the glass. It’s the perfect way to herald the beginning of the new Carolean era.

This extremely rare whisky was distilled in the Highlands by Royal Brackla, one of only two active distilleries to hold the ‘Royal’ suffix and holder of a Royal Warrant since 1883. In 2018 the whisky was transferred to two Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon casks by Hunter Laing & Co., and specially selected by Fortnum & Mason for bottling to commemorate the Coronation.

London’s original family gin distiller, Hayman’s is launching a limited-edition London-inspired hand gift wrap for their London Dry Gin on sale in Waitrose.  The gift wrapped bottles will be available online or in Waitrose stores from 12 April 2023.

The wrap features commissioned artwork by up-and-coming London artist, Rose England, and you can see London-iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, the black taxi, phone box, street lamp, street sign and, with a nod to the gin, a perfect cocktail.

The wine is rested on its lees for three years before release, allowing the delicate notes of brioche and citric fruit to evolve.
