Travis Barker has revealed the simple rule that he and Kourtney Kardashian follow to keep their four-year marriage strong.
The Blink-182 drummer, 50, admitted that he and Kourtney make sure they hash out any disagreements before bed.
"We try not to ever fall asleep mad at each other," he revealed.
"[We] try to resolve, even if it's just like, 'Hey, I thought you were going to meet me for lunch, and you didn't text me back right away, so I didn't know if we were meeting for lunch.'"
He added to People: "Even if it’s just as simple as, like, 'Oh babe, I take accountability. I'm sorry. I didn't see your text right away.' Just resolving anything so you don't go to bed not feeling connected is really important."
Travis and Kourtney were friends for years and "workout buddies" before they began dating.
"It's one of the main reasons we were so close," he said. "We would always work out together and run together before we were ever in a relationship. It's amazing to be with someone that has the same love for wellness."
In 2021, he proposed, and they had an unofficial wedding in Las Vegas on April 3, 2022, immediately after the Grammy Awards.
They then legally tied the knot on May 15 in Santa Barbara and then threw an extravagant wedding in Italy on May 22, 2022.
Their Italian ceremony was ornate and expensive, and included several religious symbols in portraits of the Virgin Mary with a baby Jesus, gold candlesticks, and crucifixes, plus a show-stopping train on her wedding veil embroidered with the Virgin Mary.
They tied the knot in Villa Olivetta, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's estate, which is set on a hilltop and features stunning views of the Mediterranean, with Kourtney wearing a dress of sentimental value.
She wore a one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda lace and satin corset mini dress, inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie, with a grand sweeping veil that enveloped the aisle behind her.
"Designing my dresses with Domenico and Stefano has been a dream come true in every way," she told Vogue. Flowers were hand-embroidered into the headpiece, and the image of the Virgin Mary also included the words "family, loyalty, respect," inspired by one of Travis' tattoos on his head.
They welcomed their son, Rocky 13, on November 1, 2023, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
They underwent multiple rounds of IVF treatments to try and conceive, but in a surprising twist, Kourtney became pregnant naturally after ceasing IVF in late 2022, a development she referred to as "God's plan."
After their marriage, they became a blended family of nine. Kourtney shares sons Reign, 11, Mason, 16, and daughter Penelope, 14, with ex Scott Disick.
Travis, meanwhile, shares son Landon, 22, and daughter Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He is also very close with his stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya.
