Nicole Kidman could follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie by adopting a child from Vietnam.

A representative of the adoption department of Hanoi's Ministry of Justice has confirmed to an Australian magazine that Nicole and her husband Keith Urban have approached the Vietnamese authorities about finding a sibling for their biological daughter Sunday Rose, who turns one in June.

"Yes, Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. We've been approached by the American Embassy," said the deputy of the Department of International Adoption. He refused to say whether the couple had discussed adopting a baby girl or a boy.

A spokesman for the actress says: "We are not going to discuss this situation."

As well as being a mum to Sunday Rose, 41-year-old Nicole has two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella and Conor
