Clint Eastwood has talked about the recent casting of Justin Timberlake in his next film, Trouble With The Curve.
Speaking as he was honoured for his six decades of work in American film, the actor-director said he liked Justin as a performer and recording artist.
"I'd seen him acting and he does quite well," said Clint.
The veteran star was opening a new movie theatre at the Smithsonian Institution.
Clint visited the National Museum of American History to help inaugurate the new Warner Bros Theatre built inside it.
Warner Bros donated funds to renovate the museum's old Carmichael Auditorium into a modern cinema with 3D capability.
The new theatre gives the Smithsonian its first space dedicated to film history. The 264-seat centre will screen silent films and first-run movies.
The 81-year-old, who was awarded the James Smithson Bicentennial Medal for his distinguished contribution to film, said he was a fan of the museum complex.
The addition of a theatre will add a piece of entertainment history to the Smithsonian's collection.
"People are treating it more as a part of our American heritage," said the J Edgar director.
