Despite the appalling weather in London, the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant went ahead without a hitch.
The Queen and the rest of her family battled the elements to the end, watching the final vessels pass under Tower Bridge as they came to the end of the route.
But the weather did put a stop to the Royal Navy Flypast which was set to be close the event.
The conclusion of the historic river extravaganza was instead marked with a rousing rendition of Land of Hope of Glory, Rule Britannia and the National Anthem by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, along with a firework display on Tower Bridge.
