Helen Mirren has another award to put with the Oscar and many other trophies on her straining mantelpiece.
The Queen actress was presented with a career award at the opening ceremony of the Palm Springs Film festival this week.
And handing over the statuette was Morgan Freeman, Helen’s co-star from forthcoming spy thriller, Red.
Other big names at the black tie gala which launched the 14-day cine event included Mariah Carey, Clint Eastwood and British opera beauty Katherine Jenkins.
