A-lister Cameron Diaz has admitted her affection for a rather unusual traditional British snack-- pork scratchings.

The glamorous 40-year-old may possess a svelte figure but she's revealed she couldn't resist the temptation when she filmed her latest London-based film, Gambit.

The actress said: "Oh that's my favourite snack in the whole world! Even with the bristles - I don't care, I'll do it! It's my favourite thing."

Although she may have a fondness for some British delicacies, the star failed to identify a hearty Lancashire hotpot when she was asked if she liked the dish.

The actress joked: "I don't even want to let you know where my mind went with that. Sexual? No, it was more sophomoric - yes, the toilet!"
