The Queen turns 'dinner lady' during church visit

The Monarch had a treat in store for church-going youngsters on Sunday in West Newton, near her Sandringham Estate.

Accompanied by Prince Philip, she gave prizes to children for attendance at the church of St Peter and St Paul and brought them sausages and mash.

Dressed in fuchsia pink, the Queen went to mass on the last day of her winter break in Sandringham.

Saturday was also the anniversary of her father King George VI's death, and her ascension to the throne.
