Susan Sarandon has described the latest phase of her career as like being a "busy temp".
The 65-year-old actress, whose latest role is as Jason Segel's mother in new film Jeff, Who Lives At Home, has several film projects scheduled for release this year.
But she's not limited to movie roles - she made a recurring appearance in 30 Rock and is set to appear on The Big C when it returns for a new series.
"I'm like a very busy temp," she laughed.
"I'm just going into movies temporarily, for a week here, two weeks there, three weeks."
Among Susan's upcoming film projects are the movie adaptation of David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas, and The Wedding, which also features Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Robert de Niro, Robin Williams and Diane Keaton.
"I'm having a lot of fun, so as long as I'm still having fun, I'll keep doing it," said the actress, who separated from long-term partner Tim Robbins in 2009.
