Once keen to make his big screen debut in a bio-pic about Jimi Hendrix, multi-talented musician Lenny Kravitz has saved his most precious association with the Sixties guitar hero to share with his British fans.
When he kicks off his UK tour in July he'll do so with a guitar that once belonged to the late great musician.
Apparently Lenny, who in addition to guitar also plays bass, drums, keyboards and percussion, has been saving the treat for British audiences in homage to the cult guitarist who came to prominence through live shows in London in the Sixties.
“Lenny’s saved this for the UK," reveals a source close to the star. "London was Hendrix’s spiritual home so it was a no-brainer really. He certainly feels there’s never been a better time to air the guitar in public.”
