Christine Bleakley offered £2m deal to stay at BBC

Amid speculation that she may be keen to follow her former co-host Adrian Chiles to ITV, Christine Bleakley has been offered a new deal in an attempt to secure her position at the BBC.

The One Show star has reportedly been approached with a two-year, £2 million deal and the chance to become the face of the 2010 Olympic Games at the BBC.

Christine recently left her agent John Noel, which prompted reports that she was planning a move to the GMTV sofa.

But a source close to the pretty brunette says she plans to sign the new BBC contract within the next two weeks.
